With more than 45 years of experience, Damien has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most significant challenges. Damien has practised exclusively in family law and de facto relationship matters, with particular expertise in complex property settlements, high-net-worth financial disputes, and international family law.

As an Accredited Family Law Specialist, Mediator, and Arbitrator, Damien works with clients to achieve practical, strategic outcomes through negotiation, mediation, and, where necessary, litigation. His approach is focused on providing clear advice, thoughtful guidance, and effective solutions tailored to each client’s circumstances.

Throughout his career, he has been honoured to receive recognition from his peers and the legal profession. He has been consistently ranked by Doyle’s Guide as a Pre-eminent Family & Divorce Lawyer and recognised as a Leading Family Lawyer in both High-Value & Complex Property Matters and Parenting & Children’s Matters.

In 1996, he was invited to become a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, making him one of Australia’s longest-serving Fellows. After more than four decades as a partner in leading Brisbane and national law firms, Damien established his own boutique family law practice in 2012 to provide a more personalised, client-focused experience.
